United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to provide strategic leadership in the areas of finance, technology, and human resources. This key role is essential to ensuring the organization’s financial health, operational efficiency, and alignment of resources with its mission. The successful candidate will also serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Executive Officer in achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management
Oversee an annual operating budget of more than $4 million. Lead financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Financial Reporting
Prepare quarterly financial statements, coordinate external audits, track donations, and maintain strong internal controls.

Human Resources
Manage payroll, employee benefits, and compliance with human resources policies. Oversee recruitment, staff development, and employee records.

Operations Management
Supervise information technology systems, office operations, purchasing activities, and general administrative functions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in finance and operations management
• CPA designation or currently in progress, or a strong commitment to pursuing the CPA designation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAGE 50 Premium Accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of non profit financial planning, fund accounting, and Canadian employment legislation
• Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset
