Debbie has been with United Way since 2004 and has shaped UW into a community impact organization while maintaining fundraising as a core part of its foundation. Previously, she was the Executive Director for Laubach Literacy NB and, before moving into the non-profit sector, she was both a post-secondary instructor and principal of a private college. Debbie is a member of the Homelessness Steering Committee, a member of the Local Immigration Partnership and co-chair of the Welcoming and Inclusive Communities committee. Debbie also works on the Greater Moncton Literacy Advisory Board, Westmorland Albert Community Inclusion Network and volunteers with the Children’s Wish Foundation as well as being the Chair of the WA Action. Debbie was nominated as one of the 150 people in the Philanthropy Magazine.

Michelle has been with the United Way as the Administrative Assistant since June 2008. Michelle is the first face you’ll see when you drop by our office. She loves the good feeling to see the amazing work being done in our community. When she’s not supporting her community through UW, Michelle likes to spend time with her family, read, go for walk and travel.

Nay Saadé has worked at United Way since August 2016. Previously, Nay had worked at Radio-Canada and feels privileged to work with all of the exceptional United Way partners as the Resource Development Director. You’ll see Nay popping around town to all the fantastic events hosted by our partners. Nay is a food lover and is always up for a good bake sale! Squash enthusiast (the sport not the vegetable), she spends many hours training for tournaments and hiking with her dog.

Kayla’s role as the Engagement and Development Manager at United Way is all about engaging people in our community through volunteerism and corporate giving. Her passion for non-profit work started at an early age when she began volunteering with several local charities. After completing a degree from Mount Allison University, she gained professional experience with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area. Most weekends, Kayla can be found hanging out with her Little Sister, hiking or practicing yoga.

Kate came on as the Community Impact Manager in 2015 and hasn’t looked back. As someone with a passion for the non-profit sector, she has previously worked with Music NB and AIDS Moncton. Her time at St. Thomas University is what cemented her desire to do community work and helping to connect people as well as her love of New Brunswick. Kate loves her family, a challenge, cooking and a good selfie.

Paul is a native of Riverview and has worked for United Way for over 10 years. He spent many years in Newfoundland where he met his wife, Kathy, together they are the proud parents of two girls: Danielle and Natalie. Paul is active in the community; volunteering as a basketball coach and for his faith community. His work allows him the privilege of bringing together people and organizations to get to the heart of the matter and make a difference. Along with United Way, he believes that behind every changed life is someone who made it happen. When Paul isn’t collaborating with the community, he spends time singing and writing music.

Gail has been with United Way since 2009 working in Campaign & Finance capacities. She enjoys going out to corporate partners and talking about the work United Way is doing and helping donors with any questions they may have. When she is not working or volunteering for UW, she sings in the 100 voice Greater Moncton Chorale, volunteers at the Capitol Theatre. the Riverview Arts Centre and celebrates all things musical. She is the proud owner of two drums, three ukuleles, a guitar and a variety of percussion instruments.

Christine has proudly worked at United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern NB as the Finance Director for 3 years after working in the private sector for 24 years as an accountant. Christine grew up in Sackville, NB and is a Mount A graduate. She and her husband have lived in Riverview for 25 years and raised 2 children, Shelby and Keith of whom they are very proud.
