Our Team

Debbie has been with United Way since 2004 and has shaped UW into a community impact organization while maintaining fundraising as a core part of its foundation. Previously, she was the Executive Director for Laubach Literacy NB and, before moving into the non-profit sector, she was both a post-secondary instructor and principal of a private college. Debbie is a member of the Homelessness Steering Committee, a member of the Local Immigration Partnership and co-chair of the Welcoming and Inclusive Communities committee. Debbie also works on the Greater Moncton Literacy Advisory Board, Westmorland Albert Community Inclusion Network and volunteers with the Children’s Wish Foundation as well as being the Chair of the WA Action. Debbie was one of 150 Canadians selected to be profiled in The Philanthropist magazine.

Paul is originally from Riverview and is in his 15th year with United Way. He spent many years in Newfoundland where he met his partner, Kathy; together they have raised two strong, independent daughters, Danielle and Natalie. His work includes supporting the Community Investment process that supports agencies working in areas aligned with UW strategic priorities, as well as convening partners and stakeholders to collaborate on initiatives to have a collective impact and improve lives in our community. Paul is focused on strength-based approaches and multi-sector collaborations. In his personal life, he has found a niche writing and performing songs that capture and celebrate the historic tales of tragedy, daring and triumph of the people of the Fundy region.

Christine has proudly worked at United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern NB as the Finance Director since September 2014 after working in the private sector for 24 years as an accountant. Christine grew up in Sackville, NB, and is a Mount A graduate. She has lived in Riverview for 25 years and raised two children, Shelby and Keith of whom she is very proud.

Mischka is an experienced community builder. Having worked and volunteered in numerous organizations and non profits, both locally and internationally, she brings her diverse experiences, her skill sets and her passion for people to create connection and to cultivate relationships that matter and change lives. She's deeply committed to building strong communities for all and shares our vision of local love as our Resource Development Director.

Andrea joined the United Way team in March of 2022 bringing with her over 20 years of customer relations and a passion for people and community. She was raised in the beautiful countryside of Hopewell Cape NB where community pride is strong. Andrea is committed to helping those in need and believes that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference. She believes in the power and strength of numbers and strives daily in strengthening collaborative and collective work both professionally and personally. Andrea resides in Dieppe and can be quoted as saying that her two most valuable accomplishments are being the mother of her 2 boys.

Beth is community driven and has a passion for helping people. After working in the hospitality and financial sector, Beth discovered a passion for non-profit work during her tenure as a Loaned Representative for United Way Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick in the fall of 2022. Working alongside the Resource Development Director, Beth strives to grow current relationships and create new ones with businesses and leaders in our region to raise awareness among members of our community, encourage engagement and develop our campaign - everything to change the lives of people in our region. Beth lives in Riverview with her dog Marley, she enjoys the outdoors and an appreciation for history with a BA in Classical History from Brock University.

Daniela is an experienced program manager and facilitator, with a passion for holistic and collaborative approaches to community development and experiential education. She has worked in areas such as environmental and community health, cross-cultural education, and social justice. Her education and international experiences have allowed her to focus on addressing a range of community issues through fieldwork, mentoring, program management, and communications, and she is delighted to be the new Director of Community Engagement for 211 N.B., promoting a support service that is truly made for everybody.

Kayla is a creative professional with a passion for crafting unforgettable experiences. With a keen eye for detail, she has executed multiple events within her time in the event management industry. Her journey into non-profit work began during her studies in event management. She holds a diploma in Event Management from Algonquin College and a diploma in Social Sciences from Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles. She believes in the power of events not only to celebrate but also to bring about positive change to the community. She grew up in the small town of Gaspe, Quebec. Outside of her professional life she enjoys going on walks with her dog Echo. She has a passion for interior design which she puts into action while redesigning and decorating her first home in Riverview.
