When you make a donation to United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick, you’re funding a network of community organizations and initiatives that are focused on changing lives and creating lasting impact in our community.

United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick funds 21 community agencies, 23 programs and several initiatives focused on creating vibrant and safe places to live and solving issues such homelessness, social isolation, mental health and poverty.

Working closely with volunteers, donors, employers, community agencies and government organizations, we stay connected to what’s happening on the ground and know where help is needed most. Our Community Investment Committee, made up of local individuals with a variety of backgrounds, assess all applications for funding to ensure your dollars are being invested for the most need and the greatest impact.

100% of your donation stays local – no other charity invests more in our local community than United Way.

We remain effective and keep costs low by maintaining a strong internal-fundraising department, by strategically leveraging our 3,000-plus workplace volunteers, and by taking advantage of donated services and support. Our administrative and fundraising costs are well below the 35 percent cost-revenue ratio recommended by the Canada Revenue Agency, which means a bigger impact for your every dollar.
