Position: Resource & Relationship Manager
Reports to: CEO
Location: Moncton, NB (on site)
Work Schedule: 8:30 am- 5 pm Monday – Friday; with flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as needed.
Travel Required: Local travel in the service area of Southeastern New Brunswick may be required.
Salary Range: $50,000-65,000 – Commensurate with Experience
Position Overview
The Resource & Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and executing:
1) Annual workplace campaigns for the public and private sectors;
2) individual donor engagement including donors outside the traditional workplace and leadership affinity groups. The position will identify, cultivate, retain, and develop donor prospects in and out of the workplace. He/she will establish and strengthen relationships with donors, employers, and the community as a whole to build donor loyalty, raise/leverage resources, and ensure a positive brand experience with United Way of Greater Moncton & Southeastern New Brunswick. He/she is accountable for the effective and efficient management of a portfolio of accounts generating annual contributions to meet or exceed organizational revenue goals. The position will seek out new individual and workplace relationships within the service area to grow resources for United Way and the community.
Key Responsibilities
The major responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Campaign Management
Event Coordination
• Works with the Resource Development Manager in organizing, but not limited to, the annual Kickoff Event, community fundraising events, Campaign Celebration, including the recruitment of volunteers and committees for each event
• Supports the Event & Volunteer Manager with key relationships for signature United Way events such as Day of Caring, the annual Golf Tournament and United By Song.
Community Relations
• Encourages community-wide participation in United Way events, such as Kickoff Event, Day of Caring, Annual Golf Tournament, SoupFest, AGM and Campaign Celebration.
• Attends networking and community building events to build brand awareness, strengthen community relationships and presence and develop new business.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Business, Public Administration, Education or a related field.
Required Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in non-profit fundraising, or related experience. Experience with grant writing preferred. Must be fully proficient in English and French. Technical Skills: Ability to successfully use Microsoft Office Suite and other technology to manage data and compose reports. Ability to successfully utilize social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
Other Requirements: Must have a valid state Driver’s License.
