We change lives.

Ukrainian/Newcomer Resettlement Fund

Ukrainians fleeing war will be coming to Canada, mainly women, children and the elderly. Hundreds of them will be coming to Southeast New Brunswick in the coming weeks and months. Some have already arrived over the past few days. They are here now and need our help. They arrive, for the most part, with no money, no food, the clothes on their backs, low language skills and no work. They need all of this and:

Housing  Jobs  Furnishings  Childcare  Transportation

Legal assistance  Medical care  Language training  More

If you are a charitable or qualified donee organization that is in a position to assist in supporting the needs of newcomers, you may apply to the Newcomer Resettlement Fund administered by the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern NB Region.

Organizations are eligible to complete this application if the organization:

  • is a registered charity in Canada, or another qualified donee
  • maintains a volunteer Board of Directors that meets regularly
  • has financial statements that have been audited by a licensed public accountant (or financial review)
  • commits to providing resettlement supports to newcomers to Greater Moncton and Southeastern NB.

Our application process is housed on our e-C Impact server. If you already have an account with United Way, go to the agency login page https://agency.e-cimpact.com/login.aspx?org=UWGMSENB  and select the Newcomer Resettlement Fund grant application that you would like to apply for, and then continue to the next page
